We operate by appointment, to allow ample time for all of our clients & patients. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which may delay appointment times & we ask for your patience & understanding if such circumstances should arrive while you are here for a routine visit with your pet. Please understand that we make a sincere attempt to see each client & patient on time.
Although our doctors & staff practice as fear-free as possible to make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during their visits with us, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. For the safety of all animals we require that they be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
Visitation for a postoperative or hospitalized patient:
As always with every pet in our care, if you would like a picture or video of your pet texted to you, just call the office & let us know! We will be happy to do so.
You are welcome & oftentimes encouraged to visit your pet while here in the hospital under attentive care. Our pets are social animals & while our staff ensures they receive plenty of love & attention, we know they're missing their families. While sometimes a visit from family is "just what the doctor ordered", depending on the pet & procedure there are circumstances where visiting a pet may create too much excitement after a surgical procedure, or an influx of anxiety after you go. Please understand that if a doctor or staff member decides it's best not to visit, it is simply in the best interest of your pet at the time.
For all visitations, please call the office ahead so we can be make arrangements in the hospital for a comfortable & safe visit while you're here.
